"Wardlow Kerambit" Tactical Knife

This is a custom made, custom designed Kerambit, a knife designed from ancient Sumatran sickle profiles that have evolved into specialized tactical and defensive hand knives. This one was custom designed with input from the client. It has a taper ground concave mirror polished 440C high chromium stainless steel blade, razor keen on the inside edge, yet thick and strong at the spine. The blade is fully fileworked with a vine pattern, and the fully tapered tang has a rear finger ring with a talon (persuader or skull crusher) point to deliver defensive point pressure. The finger ring is contoured, smoothed, and polished for comfort. The knife is bolstered with zero care 304 high chromium, high nickel austenitic stainless steel bolsters, which are multi-pinned and dovetailed to bed a pair of beautiful deep blue Sodalite gemstone handle scales. The sheath is unusual, in that it is made to ride inside the pants with an outside belt catch that relies on the belt pressure and placement to keep the sheath secure. This allows quick and easy removal, yet protects the wearer well from the aggressive blade. An unusual, unique, and useful adjunct!
