"Polaris" fine handmade liner lock folding knife
  • Blade: 440C High Chromium Martensitic Stainless Tool Steel, Hardened and Tempered to Rockwell C58, hollow ground and hand-engraved
  • Fittings/Bolsters: 304 Austenitic Stainless Steel, mirror polished, hand-engraved. Liners: fileworked, gold color anodized 6AL4V titanium
  • Handle: Polished Jasper and Hematite Gemstone
  • Case: American Black Walnut, Brass Pique inlay, Jasper and Hematite Gemstone
  • Knife: This is a very fine small liner lock folding knife with a hollow ground and mirror finished blade, with matching engraving on the blade and bolsters. The blade has full filework, including the spine, and even the gold anodized liners of titanium are fileworked in a delicate and detailed pattern. The fittings are all stainless steel, including the pivot and machine screws, and the tiny cabochon of banded jasper and hematite gemstone in the thumb stud matches the gem handle. The knife has a custom display case of black walnut lined with deerskin, with brass pique work and a mounted jasper and hematite gemstone cabochon accent.
