Diacria
  • Size: Length overall: 10.25" (26 cm), Blade Length (at cutting edge): 5.0" (12.7 cm), Thickness: .188" (4.78 mm)
  • Blade: O1 high carbon tungsten-vanadium tool steel, mirror polished, hot blued
  • Bolsters, Fittings: Nickel Silver
  • Handle: Polvadera Jasper gemstone
  • Sheath: Lizard Skin inlaid in hand-carved leather
  • Knife: Custom made for a client in Finland, this Diacria is a striking knife, created for long hikes in the beautiful north of Europe. It is customized with the client's own personal monogram engraving, cut into the deep hollow grind of the knife blade. The blade is slick, black and glassy, made of high carbon, high tungsten and vanadium O1 tool steel, mirror finished and hot blued with my professional deep bluing process. This inhibits corrosion and offers the rich, black color. The blade has Diacria's unique milled style, with chamfered and polished finger ring echoed by milled holes which lighten the blade with style. The bolsters are sculpted in nickel silver for corrosion resistance and a warm color, and the bed a stunning pair of Polvadera jasper gemstone handle scales. The knife feels great in the hand.
  • Sheath: This knife sports of my custom deep leather sheaths, made of 9-10 oz. leather shoulder, tightly hand-stitched with tough polyester sinew, and dyed blue-black, lacquered and sealed. The sheath has multiple inlays of brown Teju lizard skin complimenting the handle material of the knife perfectly.
  • A unique and personalized knife!
